Ukrainian-born artist Anastasiia Sapon was first introduced to photography by her father, who printed silver gelatin prints in a homemade darkroom. Sapon, entranced by the magical process, adopted the medium and completed her second BFA from the Academy of Art University.
Anastasiia Sapon's work has been recognized by Vogue Italia and SFMOMA. Additionally, she was named one of the 2017 PDN 30 New and Emerging Photographers to Watch. Sapon utilizes her photographic talent to participate in numerous charitable exhibitions and auctions, and donates her time shooting family portraits for her neighborhood homeless shelter.
Anastasiia Sapon is currently based in San Francisco, and she also works as a local in Los Angeles and New York.
